Sue Leigh lives in the Windrush valley in west Oxfordshire. 

 

She has had two poetry collections published by Two Rivers Press, Chosen Hill (2018) and Her Orchards (2021), and has had two pamphlets published by Evergreen Press, Chalk (2022) and Simmer Dim (2024).

A book of Sue’s poems with paintings by the Cornish painter, Alice Mumford, A Painter and a Poet: Conversations in Colour (Sansom, 2023) accompanied an exhibition at the St Ives School of Painting. 

 

Sue’s PhD (University of Aberystwyth) explored the relationship between language and experience. 

 

Sue teaches at Oxford University’s Department for Continuing Education and runs her own poetry courses, ‘Conversations in Poetry’.
